It seems that the maximum length allowed for the link in the video link field is restricted so that a YouTube playlist URL which is much longer than a standard YouTube link doesn’t work. The link is accepted in the field, but the video won’t play.
Posting the link in “video embed code” DOES work (surrounded by suitable embed code of course), but not only is this tedious, it displays the video slightly differently.
Is there some other way around this?
