“Visibility: Password protected” not working for sermon pages

I have added sermons to the sermons manager and added “Visibility: Password protected” to each site. But as you can see in the provided help page you are still able to visit the page.

If you go to a normal WP site which has “Visibility: Password protected” it works

The following plugin is used for password protection: Passster

What could cause this issue?
