I updated to the latest Sermon Manager and the player has stopped displaying. http://www.madisonfbc.org/archive I get a black box with "Download File" in it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Doesn't seem like anyone around here currently has a solution for this problem.
On a brighter side, I realise Wp is increasing getting better as a stand alone with newer updates, so for instance, I'm already gradually weaning off our Sermons from this Plugin. The latest Wp 3.9 is quite excellent with handling Audio/Media files + the new Audio Playlist feature too so...
This Plugin seemed very promising and was clearly built with good intent, but when a solo update breaks many hours of hard work (with little or no hope in sight), it really makes you think 'outside the box' indeed.

I would suggest using feedburner to manage your feeds. If you publish as a podcaster, then your subscribers can subscribe through iTunes still and you don't have to worry about broken feeds all the time. It seems every time I update this plugin, it breaks the iTunes feed. :(

All my previous archived posts with the html that posted the player say "undefined" when I use that html. I was having the same problem. On a whim I downgraded to wordpress 3.9 and it started working again.
If the devs could come out with an update that will make it compatible with Wordpress 3.9.1 that would be great! Until then I'll just stick with 3.9 I suppose.

After upgrading to WP 3.9.1 the player disappeared off of all my pages. I downgraded to 3.9 and it fixed it. Any info on how I can get Sermon Manager to work with WP 3.9.1 or when an update will be available?

Can you provide info for a fix? If not, then can you provide instructions on how to downgrade back to WP 3.9? I searched the forums and it's hard to find simple, step-by-step instructions on this.

I am working on a transition from Drupal to Wordpress and the sermon section is more or less the last big technical hurdle.
I am using a page and then widget to show the sermon "archive".
In the text widget, this is what it looks like:

[list_sermons tax="wpfc_preacher" order="DESC" orderby="count"]
However, when it is posted on the page, the sort fields are coming out above the title section for the widget. I realize this is more likely user error and not a bug, but I was trying to see if anyone had a suggestion on how to fix.

In addition, I think it may be an issue with my environment becasue the other short code listing the "preachers" continues to sort by name and not by count, but that is a secondary issue at this point.

When using a shortcode like this, there is no response on the field sorting. Even with the just the default name.
[list_sermons tax="wpfc_preacher" order="DESC" orderby="count"]
Looking at the list_sermons shortcode php code I dont see any filter being applied and cant determine where the sorting may or may not be taking place.
fro this function wpfc_list_sermons_shortcode it calls $terms = get_terms($tax);
I think it needs something more like this:
$terms = apply_filters( 'sermon-images-get-terms', '', array('taxonomy' => $tax, 'term_args' => array('order' => $order, 'orderby' => $orderby) ) );Trying to see if I can find the right filter to apply.
