Hi,
Is there any compatibility issue with Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster plugin?
I have created a page then added the shortcode [sermons]
Then using Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster plugin I tried to remove specific .css, .js files not needed in this page however, it’s not working. This is the only page where .css and .js are not removed so I’m wondering if there’s any compatibility issue with the plugin?

I would like to link the sermon manager with the event manager. i would like to add a link to the sermon on the same day in the event entry. manually, yes over shortcode [sermon day=”YYYY-mm-dd”]
is that synonymous automatically? so in the form [sermon day=”start-event-date”]?

I am trying to add a new sermon but I get this error “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I didn’t receive an email and their support has been unresponsive so I’m hoping someone here knows.

I am trying to get this page to display in columns. I don’t know how to edit the template or the CSS. Any ideas?
Maybe I am asking how to make the plugin files children of my theme template that uses two columns such as displaying on this page I created: http://covenantofgracechurch.org/audio-sermons
Does this make any sense? I know I am dealing more with theme template files than the sermon manager plugin but I should be able to edit this more easily in the sermon manager settings, I would think.

I am trying to make our sermons available on itunes but get a “can’t download episodes from your feed” error when trying to submit. I have tested it out in ditties when using my link to directly subscribe and it work fine but when trying to add on podcast connect I get the error. Is there something I am doing wrong in the Sermon Manager plugin?

Hi folks
I have successfully added today’s morning Sermon to Sermon Manager, but it is not showing on the browser window. There should be the 4th Sermon from the Ephesians Series but it just isn’t loading. I can send screenshots if you want

Our church staff has been uploading old sermons to the new website, however there is now an issue with the latest sermon displaying the most recent sermon uploaded. Currently it’s showing one from 2014, where we want it to display the sermon from last week.
Is there a way to change it so that Latest Sermon shows most recent, and not most recently uploaded?
In class_sm_shortcodes.php on line 611 it defines the function get_latest_series(). I don’t know how to debug PHP to determine what values are getting passed in and returning.

I’m a new user so i could be missing something, but I am getting double comment boxes on sermon pages. If I disable comments in SM settings I get no comment box. If I enable comments I get two. How might I fix this? As a side note, it would be nice to have the options available for enabling sidebar and comments as given on a standard WordPress post. Thank you!

I am in the process of converting an asp website to wordpress. It’s not live yet but I want to have it all setup first. We have years and years of lines in a table that contains the links and data for the sermon recordings (mp3) and sermon notes (pdf). Can someone help me with the import data file format so I can reformat the html code into a format that sermon manager can import. I think I can read the current data into Excel and then use a macro to format it so it can then be exported into the correct file format. The current format for each sermon entry in our table is like this:

Hey guys,
I am trying to add a custom page title and some margin above the sermon audio page we have. Here is the link where the plugin is installed: https://friendshipalliancemoultrie.org/resources/sermons
You can see that it goes right up against the header. Compare this to other pages on the site where you see the custom page title I built. How can I accomplish this? Is it even possible? Here are a few other pages with custom titles:

Hey guys,
I am trying to store my audio on a different site than my main site. I have tried Google Drive and MEGA, and whenever I click the play button it just buffers. If I click the download button, it will eventually go and download it after going through 3-4 steps. Is there something I’m missing here or does Sermon Manager only work with audio stored locally on a site?

I am trying to prep a new WordPress site for our church and need Sermon Manager to play nice with my Uncode Theme. It’s a major theme I know a number of churches are using but I can’t get Sermon Manager to display correctly within it. I’ve tried adjusting all the settings I can find. Using Sermon Manager Pro. Please help or point me in the right direction!

Is there a way to make sermons from a specific “service type” the URL for the Podcast rss feed? For example, we have a morning, evening and radio service. We only want the “radio” service to be sent to iTunes. Thank you in advance.

Hi. Is it possible to filter by date? I see a sort by date option, but I don’t see ‘date’ as an option in the sermon_sort_field shortcode parameters. It would be nice if the user could see a list of sermons by month, for example.

When trying to update my feed (http://www.arpc.org.au/BibleTalks/feed/) with https://podcastsconnect.apple.com I receive the following errors:
“The show is not included in the Apple Podcasts directory. A technical error occurred when attempting to download an episode, metadata, or artwork. For further questions, contact us.”
and
Can’t parse your feed. Invalid XML: Error on line 27: XML document structures must start and end within the same entity.
I suspect the problem might be to do with this line:
<itunes:image href=”http://www.arpc.org.au/wp-content/uploads/ARPC-itunes-podcast-2000×2000.jpg”/>
I would’ve expected sermon manager to instead generate the following:

I am using Sermon manager with Divi visual builder.
I created a sermons page for a church and the filter seems to be off when displaying certain sermons.
When on the Single Sermon page (the specific page for one sermon) it has the next/before arrows.
Most of the time, the next/before arrows are the correct, chronologically “numbered” / in order sermons. But for some reason, there are some sermon pages whose next/before are sermons from 2009. I have checked and double checked to confirm the “preached date” is correct and everything is in order.
You can view the attached link — there are 16 sermons in the series Life and Death. and the current sermon (the link above) redirects to a sermon years old. But if you go to other sermons, they are in chronological order. I don’t know what to even try to troubleshoot this

I can get the image from only one of my sermons to show up in my list of sermons. I have attached the image the exact same way for all of them, but if you look at church.roryjasonmartin.com/sermons, you’ll see only the image for the second sermon, not any of the others. I have worked on the css and can’t seem to troubleshoot the problem. The only difference I can see is that the image it calls for is the 240×150 image instead of the full-size image like it does on the other posts. I also cannot account for this difference as I attached the full-size image to the other sermon. Thanks for anyone who can offer some insight.

Hi,
in our church we have uploaded a PDF for a sermon before the sermon is hold.
Problem ist that with the shortcode: [sermons per_page=”20″]
it only shows sermons that are recently hold starting from today going back in future and not seeing the Published Date.
Is there any possibilty in changing this so the shortcode also shows future sermons or have another shortcode only showing the last published sermion even its not hold jet?
I am looking forward for help.
